To the friends and supporters of the Jubilate Vocal Ensemble,
If you’ve been keeping current with all of the news surrounding the COVID-19 crisis, you will know that the world’s arts organizations have been making hard decisions about cancelling rehearsals and concerts in the coming months. Today we have to announce that Jubilate will be following suit by bringing our season to an abrupt end. Effective immediately, we will be temporarily ceasing operations so that we can follow the wise recommendation to stay home and reduce the spread of the virus. We have also cancelled our season finale concert which had been scheduled for May 30. We hope to regroup during the summer months and will launch the fall season with new enthusiasm. We hope you will continue to support our efforts in the future.
If you have already purchased a ticket for the May 30 concert, or if you are a season’s ticket holder, please drop us an email at email@example.com for information about how to obtain a refund. If you are willing to decline the refund, we will appreciate your generosity and will apply the funds toward our future operating expenses.
Thank you for your understanding as we’ve made this hard call. We send our very best wishes for the days ahead. Keep safe, keep well, and keep singing!
