Canada, BC, Vancouver. Jubilate Vocal Ensemble

The Jubilate Vocal Ensemble was founded by Jocelyn Pritchard and has been part of the thriving Vancouver choral community since 1994. Our 45 talented singers, who come from all walks of life, share a commitment to perform at the highest musical standards.

Our artistic director and conductor is Dr. Larry Nickel, a renowned composer and choral dynamo who is taking the choir in new and exciting directions.

Jubilate sings a wide range of quality repertoire from all musical eras — Renaissance to vocal jazz — and is proud to premiere new Canadian compositions. Several budding composers sing in the choir and we love to be a part of their creative process. You can listen to some of our past performances on our YouTube channel.

Our upcoming concerts include Connections on Salt Sprint Island on Saturday, April 2nd, and Coast to Coast on Saturday, May 7th at the Canadian Memorial United Church in Vancouver.

We are proud and honoured to be the recipient of the Elmer Iseler Award for Best Performance of a Canadian Composition at the 2014 International Choral Kathaumixw festival.
